National Child Day Celebrations
20 November 2013
Various locations across Niagara

On November 20th families across the world will celebrate National Child Day.
National Child Day commemorates the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is a day to celebrate children and to remember that they need love and respect to reach their full potential.
The Children’s Rights Interest Group of Niagara, along with municipalities across Niagara and the YMCA of Niagara invite families to visit any of the locations for free skating or swimming in recognition of this important day.
We will also be hosting celebrations at different sites across Niagara. The celebration will include a short book reading and a cake cutting ceremony.
